Mission Statement:
The mission of the Empowerment Center for Hope and Opportunities (ECHO) is to remove barriers to success and achievement through intervention-based solutions, comprehensive services, and real-time referrals to support at–risk families.
Vision Statement:
The vision of the Empowerment Center for Hope and Opportunities (ECHO) is to spread the power of self–sufficiency, hope, and opportunity to inspire and implement solutions for at-risk and under-served populations regardless of race, creed, color.
Client Services:
We want you to feel your best while job searching and in the first few weeks of employment. Once you have scheduled an interview, obtain a referral to visit your local Dress for Success boutique. Our volunteers will work with you to help you choose an interview outfit and will provide guidance and support for the upcoming interview.
● Provide Suiting – Women obtain what they need for an interview-from clothing to confidence-and can return once they find employment for the apparel and accessories needed to enter the workforce.
● Provide Career Coaching – focusing on topics most relevant to the world of work, such as the online interview process, working remotely, resume writing, and general career guidance as a result of COVID-19 disruption
● Provide Networking – focusing on topics most relevant to women navigating the world of work and financial independence during times of economic uncertainty
● Serve as experts in our own experience and capabilities.
