Our programs and services address a wide range of needs, from immediate relief to long-term solutions, ensuring that every person we serve has the opportunity to achieve stability and self-sufficiency.
Navigator - Homeless Support
Our Navigator program is designed to assist individuals experiencing homelessness by providing essential resources, guidance, and support. We help clients navigate the complex challenges of finding stable housing, accessing vital services, and rebuilding their lives.
Case Management
Our Case Management team offers personalized support through intake assessments, helping clients develop individualized action plans. We connect individuals with the necessary resources, monitor their progress, and provide ongoing support to ensure they achieve their personal and professional goals.
Career Development
At ECHO, we believe in the power of education and skill-building as pathways to a better future. Our Career Development programs offer a range of training opportunities tailored to meet the needs of our community:

GED Preparation
Helping individuals earn their high school equivalency diploma, opening doors to further education and employment. -
Medical Billing & Coding
An AAPC-approved program that prepares students for certification in medical billing and coding, a growing field in healthcare administration. -
Medical Assistance
Training individuals to become certified medical assistants, equipping them with the skills needed for careers in healthcare. -
Phlebotomy
Offering courses that lead to certification in phlebotomy, enabling participants to pursue careers in medical laboratories and hospitals. -
CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
Preparing individuals to obtain their CDL, allowing them to pursue careers in commercial driving, a field with high demand for skilled workers. -
Welding
Providing hands-on training in welding, preparing participants for careers in various industries such as construction, manufacturing, and automotive repair.

Coalition of the Homeless
We work closely with the Coalition of the Homeless to provide comprehensive services to individuals experiencing homelessness. This partnership allows us to coordinate efforts, share resources, and ensure that our clients receive the support they need, from emergency shelter to permanent housing solutions. -
Houston Independent School District – SunRise Centers (Homeless Department)
Through our partnership with HISD’s SunRise Centers, we address the unique educational needs of homeless students. We collaborate to provide these students with access to educational resources, school supplies, and support services that help them succeed academically despite the challenges of homelessness. -
Houston Food Bank
ECHO collaborates with the Houston Food Bank to ensure that individuals and families facing basic resources such as pampers, car seats, etc. Our partnership helps bridge the gap between hunger and health, supporting our clients in maintaining their well-being while they work towards housing stability. -
Empowerment Services – Case Management
Partnering with Empowerment Services allows us to enhance our case management capabilities. Together, we provide comprehensive, client-centered support that addresses the immediate and long-term needs of our clients, from crisis intervention to ongoing case management and follow-up. -
FlaggStone Development Group – Affordable Home Ownership
Our partnership with FlaggStone Development Group focuses on creating pathways to affordable home ownership for low-income families. By working together, we help clients transition from homelessness to homeownership, offering them the stability and pride that comes with owning a home. -
The Empowerment Center for Hope and Opportunity – Houston Career Academy
Through our collaboration with the Houston Career Academy, we offer a wide range of career development and training programs. This partnership provides our clients with the skills and certifications they need to secure meaningful employment, supporting their journey towards self-sufficiency and long-term stability.
